A girl friend of mine had a cysts removed from the crown of her head. Due to the healing process, she was not able to color her hair for months. In the mean time the new hair grew in darker than the blond colored treated hair. When she was able, she decided to color her hair using lemon juice instead of chemicals. She strained the pulp from several lemons and applied the lemon juice to the new growth. She saturated the new growth up to the blond line and dried the hair with a hair drier instead of sitting in the sun. On the first day the hair was one shade lighter. On the second day, it was even lighter. By the third day, her hair was three shades lighter! The results, a kinder softer natural blend of blond, salt and pepper. It looks gorgeous!
